Roma has been teaching cooking classes for over twenty years. She has taught at the Cooking School of the Rockies in Boulder Colorado, Cooking School of Aspen, The Seasoned Chef Cooking School in Denver, What’s Cooking at Lafayette, as well as Naropa University in Boulder. Now She teaches from her commercial kitchen, Royal Bengal Kitchen. She would be delighted to come to your house and teach a class for you and your friends.

Classes typically last four hours and include a full meal and recipes. Our International Cooking Classes are really fun. You will learn how each dish should taste, smell and look, and you will have fun doing it. We also have some lively discussions about each country and their customs. Classes can be Vegan, Vegetarian, Organic, Gluten free as you need.

We can accommodate up to ten students per class in our facility which is just 10 minutes from Boulder Colorado. The cost is typically $65 per student, dependent on the number of students and the menu that is selected.

Private Classes can be arranged for one or two people but the cost will be higher. A three class exploration of the foods from any region can be arranged, for $179.99 for the whole course per person. This includes full meals and recipes. There has to be a minimum of five people in this class.

If you are concerned or scared of cooking and wish to learn, you should take cooking classes from me. I will do my best to help you learn simple cooking skills to put a fabulous dinner on your table. You will learn some basic cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, pan grilling, roasting, sautéing, steaming, cooking simple sauces and oven baking. I can also teach some easy to prepare full meals that can be very tasty. You can pick what you wish to learn from my web site or choose your food. You name the country, I teach the food.

All the classes come with a full meal, printed recipes and also hands experience on so that you can learn the topic of the day. All classes have to be pre registered and pre paid. Time is usually 6.30 pm. To 10.30 pm. And cost is $65.00 per person. Pre arrangements can be made if you want the class on weekends or day time. Call Roma at 303-530-0944 to reserve a class. If you are unable to come to a class you must cancel at least four days before the class to receive a full refund. Roma Melrose reserves the right to cancel any class, In that event the class can be re-scheduled or a full refund of payment will be issued.

Here is a small sampling of the cooking classes I have taught over the years.

Introduction to French Cooking, the Sauces, Roasted Duck with Orange sauce, French Style mixed Vegetables, French Chiffon Cake

Oktoberfest, Kalter Kartoffelsalat, Cold Potato Salad, Reis Hülsenfrüchte, Rice with Peas, Beans and Lentils, Rheinischer Sauerbraten, Marinated Pot Roast served with Sour Cream

Italian Gnochi, Chicken Fettucini Alfredo, Marinara Sauce with Meatballs and an Italian Dessert

Moroccan, Orange Salad, Chicken or Lamb Tagine and Cous Cous

Introduction to Indian Cooking, with Pakoras, Chutneys, Chicken Curry, Dal, or Lentil Soup, Vegetable Jalfrezi, or Stir Fry, Aloo Gobi, or Potato Pea Curry, Kheer, Rice Pudding.

Indian vegetarian class, which includes Saag Paneer, Bengal Fries, Mung Bean Daal, oven grilled exotic veggies and cream of wheat dessert.

Kabob Class 1, We will make Lamb Shish Kabobs, Vegetarian Kathi Kabobs and Murgh Tangri Kabobs or Chicken Drumsticks with different Chutneys.

Kabob Class 2, We will make Shammi Kabobs with ground Meat, Vegetarian Chutney Kabobs, Nargisi Kabobs with ground Meat and Egg filling.

Kabob Class 3, We will make Moghlai Kabobs with Nuts and Raisin filling, And Tandoori Chicken Kabobs with Tandoori Chicken filling. Vegetarian Vindaloo kabobs with a Vindaloo Sauce on top.
